manga style

Hello, welcome to my manga style page. These are most of my pictures i drew by myself. As You can see my favourite are coloured pencils, pastels and sometimes paint. The drawing here are quite old, from 1999 - 2005.

This here is an idea for a character from my favourite book 'The Witcher' ('Wiedźmin') by Andrzej Sapkowski. It's a girl named Ciri. Since I am not so good in drawing boys, I was scared trying to draw Geralt...

Looks like I haven't finished this picture! But I still like it much ;)

Here is a morning picture... Can You imagine how hard was to make this square pattern by myself?

I was trying to draw a bad character, 'schwarz Charakter'. The outcome is not very scary, but here I like black and only the shadow of colours...

Japanese schoolgirls... To be honest, I just love sailor styled uniforms!!

I don't know if You can see that, but here is a mixture of techniques. On the wall is paint, there are some pastels and pencils of course!

Sailor uniforms are not the only ones, I also love other uniforms. I used to watch 'JAG' only for those handsome men in uniforms...

This girl's picture was inspired by fashion from 'Utena'. The colours here are very interesting.

I was experimenting with using minimum background. And here I also learned how to draw city in the night.

Drawing this one was a nightmare! Using dry pastels can be really messy and hard. The light effect was made by eraser. But I am still not satisfied with girl's hair.

I draw the wings with the candle, and then painted the wall. It should be darker, but I still like it...

I like pirates a lot, but I don't know any pirate girl... So I drew one! She is angry girl, wrrr!

'Sailor Moon' was my first meeting with manga and anime culture. Since then I am still fascinated with Japan...
Here I was trying to picture 'non manga' Sailor moon...

It suppose to be a nostalgic picture, but I don't think I got the effect eventually...

Teenage modern witch.

Ciri again. Unfortunately, the scanner didn't catch her silver hair. I drew it with silver pen and it really shines!!

I like drawing sun reflexes on the clothes or hair ;) Her skirt is the best, I think.

I used Photoshop to make the colours sharper. That was my only adventure with this program. I can't get it at all ;(

Sometimes I am trying to draw something more realistic...

This is my version of 'Little Red Ridding Hood'. For me this fairytale is quite tragic. When I was studying German literature at the university I was almost obsessed with Grimms. You won't believe how different are the original stories from the ones You know...

Ciri again...

I saw similar picture in my English textbook. I changed it myself and drew something less manga styled.

Girls with swords, yeah! I also like the combination of black and red.

Another picture of a pirate girl

I don't remember why I didn't finished the background...

Have You seen 'Record of Lodoss War'? That's my favourite character - Deed.

Most of the picture was done with dry pastels. The atmosphere here is dark and sad, huh?

Here is cheerful elf girl.

My friend made the draft, I just added my own style and colours... and she didn't recognised her drawing anymore!

There is a song called 'Plasteline Boy' (Chłopiec z plasteliny) by Lenny Valentino. They don't exist anymore, but the picture remains... It's very old.

Ciri, I think these bright colours creating strange contrast with black...

I always wanted to draw maids.

I was to lazy to draw the background, but the outcome is good.

I think I saw similar picture in 'Sakura' by Clamp?

Again 'Sailor Moon', I drew it long long time after series finished...
